OK.. New thread

South Texas is having spring-almost-summer weather. High 80Fs and breezy. Showers in the afternoon.

I have some kind of vine growing on a wrought iron structure. It is doing fine, and is showing off its ONE flower again. Now, I appreciate ONE flower, but how come after 3 years it isnt covered with purple blooms?

The third or so "summer day" - with temperatures over 25 degrees (Celcius). Bliss.

hello mouse! long time no see, how are you?
Sounds like you're having a Spring to forget

Same weather here as Peter, several days of 22C to 24C. It's great but the garden needs watering every second evening.

"Can I draw you a beer, Norm?"
"No, I know what they look like. Just pour me one."

It has been a while. I have been busy occasionally playing Crusader lately. Weather today was sunny and hot. I think that will be the standard here until October...

Hi GQ been spending more time with books instead of computers So far our spring has been one to forget for sure since we've set records for the coolest April ever. On track for a record breaking May again for cool and wet. Rather have cool and wet than hot
All the flowers are delayed in blooming but when they do bloom they will be beautiful, trees are nice and green.

That sucks.
Warm April here, and warm early May (four summer's days in a row, that is with max temps over 25 degrees Celcius) with most sunshine in a hundred years.

It looks like this year people won't get snowed on for the May long weekend It's a 50/50 shot

Temps are going to be in the low to mid 20C for about a week from the look of things.

Hot as hell here. It's definitely summer approaching. I could sit in the hall with two fans blowing at me, and still perspire while watching TV. It's hard to sleep at night as well without turning on air-conditioning.

From what I just read, the first week of June was the coldest in the Seattle area since records began in 1891. It doesn't bother me much (other than cost--I usually turn the home heating off in mid-May), but my wife likes warm weather.

The forecast is for a little warmth around the end of the week but back to cold next week.

We are in the middle of a heat wave, and it's only June. I don't remember it ever being too hot to play baseball etc. when I was a kid, you coldn't get me to do that now, must be age.

Hot with scattered afternoon showers all week. I just got back from lunch in a rainstorm. About 20 meters to the door without my umbrella, so a chanced it. I was soaked the second I got out of the car. I was soaked on my front side and completely dry on my backside. It was not all that bad. My staff had a great laugh at my expense, and I decided to take the rest of the day off!

I hear you Duan Xuan. I can handle heat, but please PLEASE give me an air conditioner at night. I do not like sweating in my sleep. A fan at a minimum, but even that can be a drag. Of course, if the price of oil keeps going up, I may have to go back to a fan (or move North for the summer).

Whoa, trust you to revive this thread again GQ. Gus was just around the other day - she'd be pretty shocked to see this thread still active.

Last month (December) was rainy and rather cold here. It's getting warm now, though. I can't wear my long-sleeved shirts for work in the morning without perspiring. At only 7am too.

Its hot here in Joburg as well. Weather reports say 28 but it feels like 32. Whats strange is that now every evening the wind blows like crazy. I see branches lying in the street every morning.

Hey! Merry Chris...... oops, sorry, it must be the six inches of snow that fell overnight that confused me.

Very pretty, but it will no doubt bring this country to a complete halt.
