OK.. New thread

South Texas is having spring-almost-summer weather. High 80Fs and breezy. Showers in the afternoon.

I have some kind of vine growing on a wrought iron structure. It is doing fine, and is showing off its ONE flower again. Now, I appreciate ONE flower, but how come after 3 years it isnt covered with purple blooms?

Sunny and warm here in the desert southwest, mid 90's during the days and low 60's at night, kind of normal this time of year. After enduring 110F during the summer, mid 90's is rather pleasent.

Home safe and sound..appreciate the concern. We've had summer-like temps..but with high dewpoint, so we know the rain is close. Yep..just looked outside and the rain is headed my way across the Lake. ..I'm ready for it.

Nice to see the upper PacNW having a bit of rain relief. News media says most of the rivers have crested..though the flooding has left its mark.

Beautiful, sunny weather here.

Glad to see you are well, ET.

You guys could send me some of the rain, if you want. Hasn't rained here in a couple of weeks.

Rainy and getting cooler. The first real cool weather we've had here this year.

Well, you folks up North might like global warming, but I sure don't. Fortunately, this season of the year is rainy, so it isn't that hot... Rather good weather today.

Dull start to the morning, now it's raining, a sort of heavy drizzle.

Which book was it that had a character who was always in rain wherever he went, so much so that he catagorised rain into 256 different types? My brain keeps saying it's HGtG, but it can't be, can it?

partly cloudy and sunny...(for now)

GQ IIRC it was one of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series with that rained on character...

PS fun facts the eskimos have many words that describe snow

Spotted down a bit lasst evening but still pretty dry and cool.

Also Eddings ripped that whole character off for an incidental story in Enchanter's Endgame

Thanks Teal, I thought so. Years ago I used to work with a guy who was like that, every time he went on holiday it rained. One year he went to Sierra Nevada and it rained !

Sunny but cold here, rain overnight.

Hope that rain travels south to Southern Cali ET, they certainly could use it.

Well, I was complaining and grumbling the whole afternoon about the hot weather. Oddly enough, it rained heavily in the evening (still raining now).
