Whew... I just spent a week in toronto, and on the way back, we drove from 6:30 AM to 3:30 AM, and I am still sore from the trip (a soccer game didn't help). The weather is really nice now though, but everything is running out of water so the place isn't overcome with green.

That would be sooooo fun to go riding on a horse with not a single strap (unless you count the ones on your helmet, but I gather you didn't wear one). This one horse I ride in my lessons always bobs his head up and down and makes funny noises when I tighten his girth... I should call my cousin, I need to talk about horseys with someone!

Canada hasn't had much good weather lately. I think all of our pleas for heat and sun in May and June have been granted. Areas like Toronto have been having record setting heat waves, (37 degrees celsuis yesterday) and there were two fires. One by the US border in New Brunswick, and a slightly smaller fire by Halifax where I live. If is wasn't for the big tree out front, I would have been able to see the smoke whilst sitting down in the kitchen. I've been outside once today to walk the dog, but he wouldn't run because it was too hot to. I don't blame him at all.
