OK.. New thread

South Texas is having spring-almost-summer weather. High 80Fs and breezy. Showers in the afternoon.

I have some kind of vine growing on a wrought iron structure. It is doing fine, and is showing off its ONE flower again. Now, I appreciate ONE flower, but how come after 3 years it isnt covered with purple blooms?

My girlfriend, DX.
And it's definitely the angle, PharaohFan.

The camera used is a Nikon Coolpix 995. My regular camera is a Canon EOS300, which is normally loaded with slide film.

As for the weather, it's been gradually getting worse over the weekend.

Here's the reason why we can grow filberts so well..and many other crop varieties ..perfect weather

Today: Plenty of sunshine. High 86F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear early then partly cloudy later tonight. Low 57F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph.

Tomorrow: Partly cloudy skies. High near 85F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph.

I've discovered that most of the pix quality comes from the expertise of the Camera user....wish I could be capable of a fraction of what A Jay can accomplish with a camera.

Super Duper hot! Not a cloud in the sky

I've always wanted to take photography classes, but never done anything about it.
I like doing nature shots. I would put one of my pics in here, if I just knew how.
[ Protocol 'beeinflower.jpg' for image URL not supported. ]

dunno how to make a URL for it.

Thunderstorm this evening. I didn't dare to take a long shower for fear of the lightning.

aaah, it finally cools down

what do you mean? It's on my computer in a file. And I know the name.
You just need a URL and I don't know how to do that.

That Ruysdael indeed, ET.
He's actualy from my hometown

PF, you'll need a place that's permanently connected to the internet to be able to end up with a decent URL.

Overcast...no Ruysdael, just solid grey.

Looks like a rainy day in that photo.

ROFL PF. In other words, you will need some webspace, which can be gotten by registering with some web page accounts.

Cloudy overcast mornings..with sunny afternoons. Thunderstorms near the mountains, misty fog on the coast. All the elements to keep this type of weather in a loop for awhile

Nice pix A Jay..I kinda thought so, the name gave it away.

Ooh... We have terrible storms almost every other day here. Just hope the weather's nice when I go to school. I don't want to be caught drenched early in the morning.

80 degree weather is in a holding pattern..lots of forest fires to the East, near the mountains.

Eating fresh picked Pear tomatoes this evening..they are the only variety I can eat without an acid reaction Yum they are really good.

Hot and humid.
Don't think the temp dropped below 20 last night.
Today's gonna be the hottest yet with 30C and then some.

That's how the weather was here today in the UK, AJ.

I think it demonstrates how much we are acclimatised to our our own basic weather, any straying into 'the exceptional' (which this is, certainly for us) is hard to tolerate.

Compare that with mouse who seems to be able to cope with 100F and high humidity, or at least has adapted (should that be 'evolved'?) to that point

Little cooler today..barely made 77F..breezy, and smokey skies..lots of forest fires to the south. In the evening the southerly skies are crimson red..pretty but really causing a mess for those directly affected by this tragedy.

A very fluctuating day for my part of Britain.

Lightening, rain, et sun, and a mini heatwave, which is hitting...now.

Steady weather these few days! It's often moderate temperatures with little rain. I think it's usually about 32 degrees C.

Oh? I guess that's just a typical summer.

Pretty humid these few days here. I feel rather uncomfortable. Rather ill, in fact.
