OK.. New thread

South Texas is having spring-almost-summer weather. High 80Fs and breezy. Showers in the afternoon.

I have some kind of vine growing on a wrought iron structure. It is doing fine, and is showing off its ONE flower again. Now, I appreciate ONE flower, but how come after 3 years it isnt covered with purple blooms?

Hurray, nice, new, clean thread it needed to be replaced, because daylight savings rolled around again :P

Anyways, there is snow on one side of my street, it is like spring on the other. I'm on the winter side. ugh.

Aaaaah, how sweet, a new thread

Weather here is typical Dutch Easter. Snow, sun, cold, rain, a bit of everything really, but teh garden seems to be on steroids so it can't be all bad

It is an absolutely beautiful day here. I sent everyone home at noon today so that they could enjoy it. We had a couple of major projects finish up this week. The staff put in a lot of overtime to meet the deadline, and I though that they deserved the rest of the day off.

(Actually, the guys deserve a lot more than that. There will be a nice bonus on everyone’s paycheck Monday.)

It is a beautiful day here in Southern California also. It has been mid 70s and sunny. The weather here has been bad enough for long enough lately that we are actually feeling spring fever, which doesn't happen often. Many of the locals do not really know what spring fever is. It makes you realize how strange and different the world is.

Also reporting a nice balmy day here in mid-Oregon land. Mowed the lawn...spread moss control (it's a yearly task)..and sorted out the irrigation sprinklers.

VAIA that is a nice gesture...I also find it just plain ol'good for business IMO

What a great day

Planted violet impatients in amongst the bright pink ones, and filled a pot with purple verbena. Got some pink pentas started in a tall pot in the corner, and trimmed on the boxwoods a bit.

Mags helped a lot I squirted her with the water hose and made her jump sky high

Been sunny and calm here for the past 2 weeks. Temps fluctuating between high-50's to low 70's. Debating on whether or not to trim the hedges, they're gettin a bit unruly now that the warm weather has returned.

seems like the cold weather is returning to northern Illinois here. Forecasts are callin for a return to the low 40's again. *sigh* this does however give me the excuse to put off digging up the dead maple tree in our back yard hehe

and belated congrats, ET, on the promotion over at Cossacks heaven!

Hmp. Lucky! It rained and flurried today, and there is still some snow on the ground. Ready to scream because of it. Loads of homework, too. Cursed teachers...

After weeks of high 80F's, we just got a taste of winter again. 48F last night, which is unheard of at this time of year!! Fortunately, this weekend, we'll be back around 88F. Of course, last week, we were complaining it was too hot!

Now, the only thing we're missing is the rain. Last rain we got was at the end of March. Things are getting incredibly dry. Not good for the garden, that's for sure...

Well the temps are starting to rise again now. Forecasts are calling for near-80's near the start of the weekend. Unfortunately, they're also calling for rain. *sigh*

Although the rain will help soften up the ground so we can get rid of the dead maple tree.

Hmmm, Survivor on in 45 minutes... anyways, it was a little warmer today, about 15C at it's highest. It got cool and windy soon enough, though. I had to spend about 2 hours outside today because I had to film a 2 minute thing for social studies outside. My dog was a caboose of a train, too

Strange Dutch weather, once more.
Temperatures close to freezing.
Hail and thunderstorms, pretty blue skies.

Hatsepsut,
Holland is well known for having four seasons in one day.

The weekend, though, was absolutely lovely, if chilly.

Strange weather again here. Saturday it was warm and muggy, near 80°F; Sunday it dipped down into the 40's during the afternoon, and today was a mix of the two, what with those sudden northern gusts. Gotta love the spring

Well here in North Carolina its a beautiful 70ish. I think Ill go to the pool tomorrow! Sit around and catch up on my reading and get away from Bass fishing. If the water at the beach wasnt so nasty I would go swimming there, but you can smell the water before you see it!
I cant wait for the spring storms and thunder-boomers. There is nothing like sitting inside and reading to the sound of rain and thunder.

Wanna trade places then, Scipio? We're having our fair share of thunderstorms up here in Illinois. Every night you're sure to hear the deafening cracks of lightning and thunder

Well Rat you may get your wish. From what I can see and what my weather girl girlfriend tells me there is a huge line of storms from Illinois down to Texas that is on its way here. I love the rain but I hate walking my dog in the rain. I dont like the way he smells when hes wet!!
