Zac asked for the names of some different colours. This was easiest.
I thought I found it recently... I think Jaguar told me about it.
Useful thread, really.

Oh yes, has anybody wondered? Why is it that if you type in a wrong colour code (especially in BB Code), the text will turn either bright green or violet in colour?
I believe I've heard before that if you want to type colour names for colour, the code will only recognize the first 3 alphabets of the colour name. So what's "Pro" resembling in HTML colour names?
PS. Alex, you can use [q]TEXT[/q] instead.

DX, not quite. Have a look over at Stronghold Heaven (The Inn) and look for a large thread by thurdl where he and I try to figure out how this works.
As some of you seem to wonder, I will reveal how RGB color system works.
There are six characters in a color. The first two are for red, the second two are for green and the last two are for blue. Red-Green-Blue=RGB.
Each color (R, G and B) has a value. The value is not written using decimal system. In decimal system the base number is 10 (eg. 10*10=100). In RGB code the base number is 16 (24=16. A power of two is logical because of using binary system.), hence we need something to represent numbers 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15.
This is where the letters come in:
0
=
0
1
=
1
2
=
2
3
=
3
4
=
4
5

10
b
=
11
c
=
12
d
=
13
e

14
f

15
Some examples: 00 = 0 01 = 1 0f = 15 10 = 16 ab = 171 ff = 255
Each color gets a value between 0 and 255, hence each color has 256 different values. Three colors can each have 256 different values, so the total amount of combinations is 2563=167.777.216.
If you use the RGB code, browsers round the color to the nearest supported color. That's why numbers work better than words.
Always remember to add "#" before the color code
Another set of examples: #000000 = Black (Value of every color is 0) #ff0000 = Red (Value of red is 255, while green and blue are at 0) #aa0000 = Darker red (R=170,G=0,B=0) #ffffff = White (All values are at maximum. White is the sum of all colors. (I'm talking about light, since the computer screen generates light with different colors.))

Very helpful post, Ticaios, thanks. It would be of great help to forumers who are scratching their heads over how the RGB code works.

I edited my previous post. There very some spelling errors and one bigger mistake. I also added a useful link. That link is likely to die over time (that's how javascript.internet.com usually works), so take a quick look.
One examlpe of using RGB color coding is my website. (Javascript is needed to view the page.) There are three frames. In the middle frame color changes from white to khaki (or whatever). I took a look at the RGB code of white and khaki, and calculated a smooth change. I tried to use some colors that I found from html color charts, but it was never smooth with those. I think that color thingy looks beautiful.
If you browser doesn't support 16 million colors, the colors will be rounded to the nearest supported color.
It's hard to steal any html source code from my site because of the protection, so you can't propably access the RGB codes. If someone wants, I can post here the color codes used in that. (I have a copy of my site on my computer. I don't know how to view my own source code through the internet. Nice javascript protection, IMO.)

Testing sig.
You know, back at AokH, we'd always be told to use the "Preview Signature" button, but seeing as you have a forum for testing, I guess that you can do this
Anyways, I was wondering if there was a way to make a marquee without a blank part. Notice how after a marquee passes, here is a long blank portion.
For example, lets say our marquees was: "I need someone to fix my wagon"
before the word "I" appears again after "wagon", there is a long blank part. How can I have it so that the word "I" will appear right after "wagon" passes?
AFAIK, there aren't any attributes that can do what you want with marquee. At least, those that I know of don't enable that feature. I did a search on Google and found this webpage about marquee. There are many attributes that I have never seen before, so perhaps they could be useful. You might want to check them out.
Hope that helps.
*edit* I just noticed something weird. Jayhawk and ML's sigs don't appear correctly in Firefox. Why's that so? Doesn't positioning and divisions show correctly in Firefox?

Has there been created a similar image-system for C4? (Like the ones we have for C3 and Pharaoh, as shown on top of this page?)
