I'm reading... Just not posting yet.

Zac, it's recommended (by me ) that you do all your writing in a notepad first. Save it before copying into the reply box and then submit. You can delete the saved notepad file afterwards.

Duan Xuan: Good recommendation. I've lost a lot of posts in the past due to ISP problems. I learned my lessons the hard way. DX has the right idea.

DUAN_XUAN: I'm a rather fast typist and I often type story posts directly into the Reply To Topic field. My ISP in heavy traffic time periods will sometimes flash a warning that my connection will be terminated because too much idle time passed (in its judgement). The idle time passed because I was typing my post but hadn't transmitted it yet.

Well, I type so quickly that I invariably hit the one key that confirms to the ISP to disconnect; and I hit the key almost before I even see the warning dialog box appear. Consequently, the ISP disconnects and I lose the reply box field and everything I typed into it.

You have no idea how many highly detailed story posts I lost before finally learning my lesson. The redone versions were never as good as the first, to my everlasting irritation.

Typing your post in a format you can save locally like a notepad and then pasting it into the Reply To Topic field is a good idea.

Nice! The settings on the intro is like a role play!
(If it was then I'd sign up for VORTIGEN)

Thanks, Wu Su Zheng. We appreciate your complement.

I'd like to invite you to read one of our completed stories.
Its titled THE SILK ROAD.

We do not vouch for its geographic, historical or cultural accuracy, but you might find the adventure amusing nonetheless.

Here's how to find it in C3Heaven:
1. Click on STORY ARCHIVES at the very bottom of the screen listing all of the Community Forums.
2. Without making an entry in the sorting fields, click on SEARCH.
3. Look in the resulting list for the thread titled:
THE SILK ROAD - A STORY OF ANCIENT ROME.
4. Don't worry about the "lock". The thread is read-only. Enjoy. (You might like it better if you set the chronology of the posts from oldest to newest while you read the story).

Let me know if you have any trouble finding it.

I think it's extremely likely Wu - especially when Emperor comes out.

Also with the rapid expansion of China's economy, more and more people will have to or get to know China better.

Glad you liked THE SILK ROAD, Wu.

There is a sequel to the Silk Road story in the Community Forum. It is a mystery story titled A DISTURBING PEACE.

To find it, if it is not visible on your list, SEARCH on "Civis Romanus" as the author and look for the thread. Having just read the story of the Silk Road, you are in a perfect position to read A DISTURBING PEACE and perhaps unravel the mystery before Titus and Civis do.

Consider it a challenge.

The story returns. Participants welcome; otherwise, I will move it along until its natural conclusion.
