I'm in the midst of creating a XPS document which includes a lot of material technically copyrighted by HG. It has some originality(value added) and I plan only to release it via HG downloads. All well and good intensions, but it doesn't mean others wont try to rip off the document and pass it off as their own.
I was thinking of putting a Heavengames LLC copyright and web address in the middle of each page.
What does management think?

I doubt management would care, considering the age of the site. I always found the copyright notices to be dubious, considering that HG is reporting on the copyright of someone else's content and that most of the content it reports is probably not owned by them anyway.
I doubt it'd matter if you used the content. HG is very quiet these days, with close to no presence of the "upper staff" and I doubt they'd care about content being reused in 2016. :P

Sajuuk,
There is common curtesy and respect, for the authorship and their appointed stewardship, that should be observed regardless of your opinion.

My thanks and understanding. I still remember playing that game, decades of dedication for an elusive future utopia...
