I'm playing the first mission that allows farming and figs. In previous missions once the housing needed food to evolve, the market buyers would go to the granary and get ostrich meat.
Now I have a granary with lots of figs, fully staffed, close to housing and market (also staffed) but the market is "looking for food to sell". I happen to also have pottery in warehouses but those aren't being touched either.
Basically the buyers seem to be very unprofessional and probably part of a union.
Other notes:
1. Buyers set to buy.
2. Granaries accepting, not emptying.
3. Warehouses accepting pottery only, not emptying.

try building a granary closer to the houses. There's a maximum walking distance for bazaar employees to get supplies. Also, if you can access the trading page (not correct term), make sure you haven't set them to stock pile.
