The Cleopatra patch is an executable file--you need to run it.
I don't think the patch will fix monument corruption that has already occurred. If you have a saved game from before you dispatched the last of the burial goods (which should be what caused the corruption), you should be able to continue from there. I'm not sure that having the patch will prevent the corruption on a mission that was started without the patch, so I recommend that you finish as if you didn't have the patch: complete all of the mission requirements except for dispatching the last of the burial goods, wait until the next month, and then dispatch the last of the burial goods for immediate victory.
If you don't have a saved game from before you dispatched the last of the burial goods, you could start the mission over (but don't choose replay mission: start by winning the previous mission and going from there to Waset). I have heard that deleting the corrupted monument and building it again will also work, but I haven't tried that.
