i build a big tomp.
they need lamps to work inside.
A worker went to a storage, that holds lamps and took a big sled full of them.
but then he entered the flood-area and disappeared.
Why this?

If by "flood-area" you mean part of the floodplain that was covered by the inundation, I expect that the route that was calculated from the storage yard to the tomb went through the floodplain (which wasn't flooded at that time), but by the time that the sled got there it was flooded.

Is there a road from the lamp storage yard to the tomb? If not, the lamp sled will go cross country. (I haven't built a tomb so don't have experience with lamp sleds, but I assume they behave like other monument construction workers.)

Then the behavior is surprising. I'd like to see it, but since I haven't modified my Pharaoh_Model_????.txt file, I probably can't run your saved game for very long. However, if you have a saved game from just before the lamp sled is created at the storage yard (who then goes into the flood plain and walks on grass), could you send it to the address in my profile, mentioning Pharaoh in the email subject?

I suspect there is a road connecting the storage yards to the tombs which runs though a strip of floodplain. When the Nile is flooded, the road connection is broken, forcing a cross country route. When the flood recedes, the road is exposed, letting the cart pusher follow the road all the way to the tomb.

That would also explain why you saw the disappearance at the floodplain, the cartpusher trying to take a road-based walk which became unavailable due to the flood after the walk was started.

Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly, so they lit a fire in the craft. Unsurprisingly it sank, Proving once again that you can't have your kayak and heat it too
