I completed Hetepsenusret in just 55 game years, when it would be normal to complete it in at least 70 game years. Pyramid Speedup was not used. Anyone able to do the mission faster? I vaguely recall a post saying someone did do it quite fast.

Cartouche Bee's 38-year Hetep is interesting
- no floodplain farming (for faster pyramids) and can feed 17000 people, with room for more fishing wharves, fish and meat imports
- feeder huts & culture parks
- some god blessings but Ra's "trade more" blessing only twice, late in the game
- disconnected dock (with only 2 SYs, at least at the end of the game)
- went into debt a lot
- frequent malaria in feeder huts
I don't know how efficient the pyramid construction was (as most of the guilds, work camps and store yards have been deleted) but it seems like it should be possible to at least match that time, with stricter conditions (no huts/blessings/all roads connected etc).
Or use Ra's trade blessing and cut it by a few years - if the masons can place the stone quickly enough.

I didn't have a worker shortage problem until about year 48... but I did have 17,204 people in non-scribal housing!
There's enough food in Hetep to provide all the workers you'd need for a quick finish, even without floodplain farms. Too many manors might cause problems but that's easily avoidable, you only need a single block of scribes to give you plenty of tax income.
I think ageing would definitely cause problems in a 50+ year finish, but shouldn't be an issue in a 35-40 year game.

If I remeber correctly, Cartouce Bee's 38 year Hetep was one of his first cities played on hard, and I think he was pretty new to the game.
In later years he did for instance Itjtawy in 99 months in a competition with Max.
Using strategies seen in Itjtawy, Saqqara and Meidum, it should probably be possible to complete Hetep around 1350, if it's possible to import enough limestone.
Haven't played Pharaoh/Cleo in a while, and still haven't finished Hetep. But it seems like fun to finish it as fast as possible. Maybe I'll give it a try.

Hetep might have another challenge, at least on higher difficulty levels. Because you can only import to maintain 300 limestone, there's essentially a time limit to clear the worksite and build enough bricks to place the first few layers so that you don't hit the limestone import limit. With limited export income available it might be tricky to get enough work camps and brickworks in place early enough.
