I don't know if this has any practical applications, but its still quite fun.
Make a mission, and make one of the trade cities (any one) export gold. Then set a storage yard to accept gold. Once you've filled up the storage yard you can build a palace, then set the storage yard to empty. The import of gold cost nothing, but it still makes money.
I'm still trying to think of a practical application. Possibly you could win the trade route in a senario. Once you've done that you have a fixed income of 2500 debens (or 1500, or 4000) per year.

No, you do this on the mission editor. You make a trade city export gold, thereby allowing yourself to import gold.
