ok, i know this is the wrong place for it, but the mission editor forum looks pretty dormant.
I'm trying to create an event so that an army attacks my city every 50 years. So, i set it up, and put it on a recurring event. The army comes after the first 50 years, but nothing happens after that. It is only happening once, even though i have it set on recurring.
help please

I seem to recall (way back) that there is a glitch in the automatically recurring events in the scenario designer.
I think the post back then said that if you set up a trigger for every 1 year, it would occur in 1, 2, 4, 8, 16...years instead.
If this is correct, then I would assume that your 50 year invasions would occur at 50, 100, 200, 400...years instead.

hmm, i tried it out, and i think the whole recurring thing is just plain broken.
I set it to 1 year, and the enemies came after 1 year. But then I waited and waited and waited and even after about 10 years, another army did not come.

Just read this thread. For various reasons, using recurrent events is not a good idea. The game also forgets some, according to the results of the previous ones.
And you are right. I personnally contributed to the Editors' thread simply for not to let it die. Now that the game is old enough, both threads should be pulled into this one.
[Edit again] Confirmed when I realize that the last reply is mine, 110 days old.

Regardless of whether a forum has had recent posts, people check them all regularly, so please put questions in the appropriate forum.
