Hey guys Imagine this scenario where im building the first perfect pyramid..... My city is a t 3500 (only need 3000), all my requirements are met and my pyramid is about 20% done. All of a sudden my population drops to about 3000, i think fine no probl;em it'll go back up. Next thing I know Pop is a t 1500 and I dont know what happened. So I look around all my granaries are full so i look at the bazars and they dont have any food. Well i watch the trader go in and out but the buyer dosent buy any food. I check the settings and there fine. I checked to make sure the bazzars had enough workers and they did. Bu there still not buying food...Everyone starving and i have tons of food. What can I do to fix this problem? Thanks
Geoff

Hi doorsmaniac, welcome to Pharaoh Heaven.
It sounds like the food (grain if you're building North Dahshur) is set to "stockpiling"--perhaps you forgot to set it back to "Using and trading" after dispatching a request.
By the way, if a city of mine unexpectedly lost 500 (or 50) people, I wouldn't think "fine no problem". Instead, I'd immediately pause the game, find the problem, and fix it. Recovering from a large population loss can be much harder than from a small one. For example, you may have to set labor priorities to make sure that granaries are fully staffed, aggravating labor shortages in other areas.

well im not into doing housing blocks and stuff like that. So sometimes i do loose 50-150 in population. Not to mention i was worried about building the pyramid and not anything else....Thanks for your help though I feel like an idiot not checking that...That was the problem
