I seem to be send in circles and don't get any answers so I thought I try here.
Hope someone can help

Please use an informative thread title. For example, this one might be "Buying Great Empires 2 outside US".
Sorry, I can't help you, but I'd guess that someone can.

Hi Libra3 I think Brugle's suggestion of a name change to the thread would give you a better chance of getting a helpful reply. So I've changed it
I think it would also help if you would say in which country you want to buy the collection. There are visitors to this forum from all around the world, and again if one of them is from the same country, you will get better quality help

Libra
I understand your frustration.
I recently purchased a copy of the Great Empires Collection 2 on E-bay. I arranged with the seller to send it to Australia as he also wasn't going to ship outside the US.
Go to E-Bay and set up a tracking option so that when another set becomes available that you can be notified.
good luck, these are great games

Thanks for all the answers, including changing the tread.
I live in Denmark but it really don't matter since I haven't been able to find any site except amazon.com that sells the game. I would be greatfull for any country except US as long as the game is in english.
I liked the idea of ebay, if I can find out how to use it.
Just a footnote....not much help you get from Sierra, dead link or a return link to amazon.com which cannot help eighter. To bad it think.....or maybe the only want to sell to US, then they just should say so on their website.
Thanks again....is the first place I got advice I could use.

Hi Libra3 and Esbjergs Faraoh nice to meet some more Danes here at HG Don't forget to visit the City Builder Census
Thanks for your mail GillB
Unfortunately Great Empires Collection II can not be found on spilpriser.dk. Where do you live Libra3? Here in Aarhus where I live we have a special shop called Electronics Boutique eller(uups, sorry. A Danish word sneaked in ) or EBGames which concentrates on selling games. Maybe you have a shop from that chain close to where you live? They might be able to get the game for you. If you do not have a EBGames shop near you I could go ask in the shop here in Aarhus...

Proconsul Creaticus Dania my hero.
I live in Århus, and I heard of the shop but got the name wrong, so was going to go downtown to look for it.
They don't have the game on their website, but I'll see if they can't get it for me.
But thanks a a lot.

PCD Woops there goes the hero. Don't you know it's no very nice to correct peoples english. tsk.
And pardon me for translating directly.
I live outside Århus, in Tranbjerg, but I think I will use the one in City Vest, easier parking.
I gather you are very experiend in these kind of games. This is my first in this serie, but I have to admit I like it very much, and are glad that I finally found a game without war all the time.
So you see, I simply need this collection.
And if ypu correct my english again next reply will be in danish. :Þ

I do like the CityBuilder series but I'm by no means a beancounter except when partaking in a contest

Is it ok if I correct you spelling then? ypu = you Oh, and please don't reply in Danish. I would have to translate it and Brugle or VAIA would have to warn you BTW, + means I'm teasing you a bit

PCD I know...my lot in life that people tease.
An no I'm not going to write in danish, and I'm not going to take notice of my spelling or my english...I bet you understand me anyway.
Isn't a play just a contest with your self? I play only to see if I can, not if anyone else does it better than me. I don't care if I have to replay a mission 10 times in order to get it right.
Have you tried Anno 1503? it's another good builder game.

You didn't know this place back then, but try check this page: Caesar 3 Olympics. If you look carefully you might find me someplace... (must admit I'm still a bit proud of myself )
There have also been a special Pharaoh contest about 2 years ago. Currently there are at least 2 sites on the 'net having monthly citybuilder contests. One of them is here: CityBuildingContests, unfortunately I can not remember the other site... As you don't care if you have to replay 10 times for getting something right, maybe above site is something for you?

Yes, I have Anno 1503 + at least 6 - 7 other games I've not finished.
