Hi
I guess this is my first post on here, after lots on C3.
As Bradius I think will recall, I'm not much of a fixed block player.
I think I'll need to make some map designs for P which offer a challenge in that area.
The idea in the Ceasar series, as I understood it, was to make a "city building" program, allowing natural cities to be formed.
Unfortunately the walkers create problems with that, hence the somewhat odd (to novice players) need for roadblocks.
Not to say there is anything wrong with solving the puzzle as presented to you. That's what games are for!
The sad thing is, I'm sure they made the "Jugglers at intersections" rule, and some others, to try to get players to make towns with normal intersecting roads.
It's pretty obvious from posts here that all you need to do is remove the extra roads after placing the Juggler!
I'll play this game with interest. The demo was a little buggy, and locked up on the first attempt, but completed OK on the second.
I still long for the day when home owners do their own shopping (when not at work), so that distance from the stores is all that matters.
That way you would have long queues at certain places, if there were not enough, and people would be late for work, reducing productivity in the fields.
Perhaps C5 or C6?
Still, can't wait for the map editor!
