Sorry.
I'm sure this topic is covered somewhere in the Forum, but maybe I'm not the only one having trouble with this. I seem to be confused about the mechanics of SYs and Granaries. For example, in my re-run of Saqqara I have several hunting lodges, each of which has an SY accepting game meat. Then there is a granary between the SY and the housing block set to get game meat. (See Plebus' version for a similar setup.) It seems that the meat often ends up sitting in the SY when the granary is nearly empty.
Similar to my raw material question in the Overseer of Commerce thread, I periodically flush the SYs via "Empty" commands, which usually--if slowly--does the trick, though sometimes the cartpushers go to a more distant granary than I had intended. Of course, from time to time I then forget to reset the SY to "accepting."
Am I correct in assuming that the bazaars cannot get food directly from the SY unless I'm importing that type of food (even at "importing zero")?
Will a "getting" granary reliably get food from an "accepting" SY?
