Cartouche Bee and I have been through our “why not a Hetep with 100 palatial estates?”, I was looking around for a new goal that would be fun and instructive. I would appreciate your suggestions, especially if your noticed in contributions to this forum a scenario that would be fine.
Challenge would not be about score or money. I think the “get as many palatial estates as you can in a forever running city” is a good challenge to reach best possible city and learning. Best would so now be a game without Bast but with significant resources.
Many scenarii in Pharaoh or Cleo are very poor, this is the problem. I already noticed these one:
1. Kerma Fortress. Map is splendid, very complex. But whole simplistic scenario to be erased.
2. NAFTA (and its earthquake)
3. Old Alexandria (but it seems it is the same as Hetep).
4. Cleopatra’s Alexandria (Cleo).
I tried to edit new Cleo games but could not find anything (neither .MAP nor .SAV). Seems everything is in mission1.pak
Downloaded some scenarii. As Cartouche Bee just got Cleo, I especially noticed in recent uploads:
-ImhotepII-Ptolemy- 3 scenarii (3 .SAV +3 .MAP).
Cartouche Bee, as you have a new game, an opportunity could be Imhotep2 Ptolemy-Alexandria or Philae (starting with .MAP), adding the Caesareum instead of the obelisk (3 nice new monuments for you, and I am not sure I ever built the Ceasareum either). Zoos to be allowed if there is game, zoos are fun (and new to you too as a player). I have not been too carefully through “Events” not to lose the fun of discovering, but there are some plagues you have never seen (do not check, keep the surprise).
I think I would love it. If you are OK, tell me (anybody else too), I would so go a bit more thoroughly through the scenario to check everything is OK (3-4 Gods, 3-4 food, key trade routes never definitely shut, game and straw to allow zoos and anything else you would suggest) I would make a checklist, verify, then upload it (and/or send it by e-mail). Job would be done within an hour.
ImhotepII can perhaps reply, but I have not seen him around recently.
