I'm placing my pyramid sites ASAP when I begin a new map, and doing all that I can to keep construction going at max speed throughout the mission. Even if I'm never waiting on carpenters, masons or peasants I still find that I've achieved all my other goals a long time before the monument is complete. Is this normal? It's quite frustrating at times because I then become an observer, watching my flourishing city sustain itself while mindlessly clicking away messages at full speed for hours.
Also, I was wondering if anyone else has noted a 'bug' that I observed while playing Abu. I built a granary on the western island to feed my miners and quarriers. The road to the granary from the ferry looped around some gem mines. I was watching my cart pushers get off the ferry with my excess grain and instead of looping around the gem mines they pushed their carts straight into it and dissapeared into the mine!
I watched this for quite some time, thinking that perhaps I had missed something and that they were actually appearing on the other side, but they never did. My granary stayed empty and my cart pushers continued dissapearing until I removed the gem mines.
I finished this level quite some time ago, so I'm not concerned, but I'm still wondering if I'm crazy or if someone has seen this before.
Stay happy gamers,
Wing.
