Hey all - I finally completed the 3rd level, with 22 months to go before time expired! Yay! :-)
Here are a few things (not in any particular order):
1. Does hitting 'w' turn on the water overlay for anyone? Granted, the ReadMe doesn't list it as a shortcut key. Perhaps it was just disabled for the demo.
2. If you minimize your toolbox, do you still get the info popup when you run your mouse over the palace? I don't get it even with mouse help on full and warnings on.
3. Hopefully this is just a demo thing, but I really don't like the lack of a Firehouse listing in the Labor Allocation window.
4. Sometimes when I right-click on the Mastaba I get a screenfull of information, and other times all I get is the Construction Foreman saying that they need another load of brick. I've tried to determine a pattern, but I don't see one. Time of year doesn't seem to make any difference, nor does whether or not there's brick being laid down at that time, or whether there are bricklayers standing on top of the Mastaba.
5. Can anyone visually tell the difference between grain and straw when they're in a cartpushers cart?
6. Has anyone noticed that sometimes when you delete a farm it will also delete the road right next to the farm?
7. The fireguys in P have the same problem as in C3 - they can walk back and forth in front of a fire and make no effort to put it out. For as example, I had a square of housing go up in flames, so I put in another firehouse a few squares away. The firewalker popped out and cruised right on by without pausing.
Also, I really wish they would first put out the squares that are right next to other intact buildings. That would minimize the spread of fire, and it's certainly what firefighters in RL do.
8. One last thing. When reeds are in a SY, they look like asparagus to me... :-)
