Hey
So I'm planning out my next campaign (but I'm not going to be putting it up for quite a while, it's just being planned out with the required maps and so on for me to playtest) and I'm finding that it's quite difficult to explain a mission fully in just 1024 characters.
In the mission text field (where you enter a description of the mission), I noticed there is an option for "Load text from data files", with an ID box next to it. Exactly how does one use this feature? When I tested the feature, it just seemed to load all the text that is present within the EmperorMM.eng file.
Is this a useless feature that nobody can use, or is there a way to actually make use of this to add mission descriptions that go beyond the 1024 character limit? Some of the single player campaign descriptions clearly go beyond that limit using this "Load text from data files" feature, so I'd like to look into using it on my campaigns to write more lengthier introductions.
Thanks in advance if you can help!
