Topic Subject:Olives, clay, timber not delivered to workshops

I am wondering if anyone has seeing this problem: an olive farm, a clay pit and a timber finishing production and not delivering to near by workshops. I do not see the cart pusher going out and the workshops remain idle. Of course, the housing is at small casa level with all required services(bath, amphitheater, school, barber, hospital and library). I have a save if you would like to see. thanks

Assuming that the cart pushers (with clay, olives, or timber) are generated but do not move, it is an unusual problem. Send the saved game to the address in my profile (mentioning C3 in the email subject) and I'll take a look at it.

Brugle, I sent the file to you. There are some small casa (the only ones) in a loop on the river, south-west, where the problem is happening. I was very sad because when I was about to reach my goal of 30K souls I spent a lot of time trying to find and fix the problem unsuccessfully. By the way, the cart pushers do not show up at all. The olive farm completed to 100% and immediately it starts over the production without delivering. Same with clay pits and timber. I hope you'd discover the cause.
Thanks.

In that case, it is probably a very common problems (when someone is building a large city): exceeding the walker or destination walker sprite limit. I'll check the file you sent to make sure.
[Added:] Yes, it's the walker sprite limit. The file you sent has 995 walkers. The limit is 999, which is probably reached frequently.
By the way, if this is your first try at building a large city, I think you did well. Avoiding sprite limits can be difficult--I've only built 3 large cities.

Hi Brugle, Great you figured out what the problem was. I'm going to rebuild the city in a more compact way. The town in the south is overproducing so I will leave a tiny town guarding the attack points and the rest would be on the east side of the river. That would happen next weekend, the gaming time is over . How did you find out the number of spirits? By the way, your palace peak save is something awesome. I got inspired by it to build the 40 palaces on this map. Have a nice week.

How did you find out the number of spirits?
I used a programming system from Trium that can (among other things) read C3 and Pharaoh .sav files and display various things, including walkers and destination walkers.
