Hi there,
I've been playing Emperor for a few days now, and I seem to run into a problem. I have four trading posts to different cities. I'm attempting to sell lacquerware (sp?) to several cities. Three out of the four cities buy it, and I've got a warehouse right nearby that "gets" Lacquerware.
Now, for some reason the workers from the trading station are not picking up the lacquerware. They're just simply not picking it up. The trading post is not full, and they'll sometimes deliver the lacquerware, but not very often. This leaves me with only selling about 4-6 loads of it a year.
Is there anyway to force the workers to pick up the lacquerware and put it in the trading station? Thanks.

Did you check your commodities settings to make sure you don't have lacquerware set as 'stockpiling'?

Thanks for the reply.
I did double-check it and it's not set as "stock-piling". Nothing is, as I didn't actually know about it until you mentioned it :P
I'm not sure what else it could be...

You may need to stop the warehouse from 'getting' lacquerware. Just set it to 'accept' it. Then the deliverymen from the trade station should go to the warehouse, pick it up, and take it back to the trade station.
If that does not work, check each trade station to make sure the city is still trading with your city. A message will appear if the other city has stopped trading.

Best tip I can tell you after having gone nuts over this as well, is that you get one warehouse that is supposed to distribute the lacquerware to your citizens as "get", and preferably a small number like 4-8. Then you have another warehouse (or a couple of them) near your trading stations that pick up the surplus production as accept (and if you only want one warehouse to do this, disable all other types of goods the warehouse can accept). This means that whenever the first warehouse is full, the remaining goods will go to the other warehouses and it make it possible for you to trade those goods. Or at least it should in theory.
