I was just curious if anyone playing Athens Through the Ages decides to summon Theseus in episode 4 (after returning from the 1st colony) instead of in episode 2, since the Minotaur won't target anything outside his range. I played this adventure on Olympian difficulty, and found that summoning him in episode 4 instead of in episode 2 is much easier for several reasons:
1. You can buy grapes in episode 4 (from Delos briefly & then Eretria once Delos is conquered) to make your own wine instead of only being able to buy/request wine from Marathon, which is much cheaper.
2. Odessos is now a vassal & you can just stockpile their tribute of 8 marble (both from episode 2 & episode 4)to meet the marble requirement.
3. Finally, I found using Theseus for conquering missions much more useful in episode 4 then in episode 2 since you cannot evolve your elite housing past Mansions (unless playing on Beginner level) because Delos & Sardis are much harder to conquer when you do so in episode 4 then Knossos is to conquer when you do so in epiosde 2.
Let me know what everyone's thoughts are, because as far as I am aware, I have not seen that strategy mentioned on any forums or walkthroughs.
