How do you like the latest installments [/b]EmEll[/b]? I just finished Mediolanum. On to Carthago now. Yuck! I hate taking over from sloppy governors!

I have made my addition to the story thread: A Distance too far.

I was in a peculiar mood as I wrote it, so take it for what it's worth.

Hmmm, anyone around to serve me an orange juice?

Hey folks,
I just got off of the phone with a job offer. I may be moving to San Diego in about two months! Moves are hell with kids, but lots more money is always a motivating factor. SenetEr I love the story addition. I never saw that one coming. Glad someone dragged that huge butt out of the fire. When did you get C3 again? You didn't have it like two days ago. And thanks for the drink offer Cay. I will take a fine pale ale if you please.

Cheers,

Great Em Ell! Good luck with the potential job. And at least your kids are young enough that a move isn't too traumatic...

I'm waiting to hear back from the Forces myself... Sometime this month I should find out if I'll be an Officer Cadet starting in July. Then you'll all have to call me ma'am or sir and salute. Well, at least the Canadians here will.

Oh, and I've added to the story too... Doesn't move the plot along at all, but hey, that's not my strength. ::shrug::

Hi Marcus, I'll have a beer please.

I moved 12 times in 20 years so if you need any hints.

Back to the story to read how you were saved.

Ave ladies,
Wow I will definitely be calling you M'am as soon as I get your news. I know they will take you. You will be a fine addition to the Army of the Great White North. I also liked your contribution to the thread M'am. And Merepatra I wouldn't say I was saved in the story...not yet anyway.

Well, this is what I had planned to do with the story before I ran out of gas, so to speak:

Caylynnia was briefly taken over by an ancient spirit, which was the one who spouted the words about Caesar. The spirit wants to use Caylynnia to get rid of Caylynn, who happens to be the acolyte of this sprit's adversary. Anyhow, this spirit leaves Caylynnia with temporary amnesia - the idea was that she would quickly remember who she was.

And that's as far as I had gotten in my thoughts, but obviously my keyboard didn't take me that far...

Oh, if anyone wants to write this, please feel free to go ahead...

Caylynn I'm sure you will get very sick of the saluting quickly, I know my husband did, he said one of the best things about leaving the military was being able to walk to his car without everyone saluting him. And I hated being called Mam, always made me feel like an old lady.

WOW!!! Marcus L. ..you are getting closer...I will be in LA for the e3 bash...barring health and weather restrictions...My favorite flight went into the "drink" so I drive whenever time permits..I still say it is more dangerous... have you ever been on a So.Cal Freeway..heehee..as the infamous JCarson said...they change flat tires at 55MPH..

I have been to Huston..and I really like the idea of the enormous "barrel pits" just for escape purposes

Boy ..sounds great

Caylynn Ouch, my head hurts. You better ask Gus or MRed to get that in there quick. Easier to get Thanh to go back and edit his part. I'm sorry if I left the impression that you were weak on action. It wasn't my intent.

EmEll I got the CD back from my father last night. I'm playing military and just starting Carthago tonight. That place is a mess when you show up. Ugh!

Nope, I got stuck on a large map and then Pharaoh came out. I was close to the end but I thought I'd go military first now that I got it back. When I get back into practice, I'll finish the peaceful. I'm pretty good at Pharaoh but I find I semi-suck at C3

BTW, when did you guys get these new glasses? They look just like... Hey! These are Egypt's new Reck-Room glasses! Who the heck stole them and brought them over to Rome?!?!?

One question. Can I erase that whole mess I inherited in Carthago without losing the game? Then I can start with a fresh map...

Just come from Egypt, I went to have a cup of coffee but our new glasses were gone. I did see evidence that a certain cherub who seems to have a criminal bent (though he likes to call it borrowing ) had been there.

I'm sure nobody here will mind if I just check in the cupboard

Whats this then

I'll just be taking these back to Egypt with me now then, think we need a better lock on our cupboard.

Are you accusing Marcus Lindicus of stealing our glasses? For shame, Merepatra, for shame!

That's not very nice of you.

Hey Marcus Lindicus !!!!
Vancouver just beat San Jose so do you know what that means...

Edmonton Oilers versus Dallas Stars

In Round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Ooh, we are going to do you such harm!!!

...gonna be a Texas-sized butt-kickin' coming right up!...

Oh no, I wouldn't accuse Marcus Lindicus of anything. It must have been another cherub, one who as a "valued" staff member in Egypt would have had the opportunity to do this dastardly deed quickly (if not quietly)

Ave all,
Yes the Star vs. Edmonton on Wednesday. Easy pickings my friend, easy pickings. The whole province must be up tonight celebrating... Only five games to elimination instead of four. Bring it on Oil, bring it on...

And I have never stolen anything, never....except my wife's good judgement.

Hi Cowpattieann, Milky-Way-Os aren't very good for the teeth but that's okay. I have a hygienist here who can clean me up before permanent damage sets in. Nothing much happening. Good day work-wise. So-so on the rest.

All having children did for me was make me chronically tired . It was a life-altering experience but I don't think it made me more adult. It was simply profound. So is getting religion I imagine.

I wasn't very accomodating wrt to the story either and I don't have the antibiotic excuse.

::nod:: PAC - it's just so hard to have to regurgitate this stuff on an exam when you don't believe in it or can't relate to it at all... I have a hard time trying to write an essay defending a concept I don't believe in in the first place! Ah well, such is the joys of psychology and sociology courses (which makes me remember why I went into engineering in the first place. And although I'll have to take more psych and soc courses when I study nursing this fall, at least they'll be more practical.)
