As I was leaving a bank's parking lot after visiting an ATM, a guy showed me a pistol in his belt and told me to give him my money. The bank is across the street of a bar I go to from time to time and instead of doing what the thief said I simply said no and walked straight to the valet of the bar and told him a guy tried to rob me. I then went into the bar and called the police. The thief was not to be found. My initial reaction scares me. Instead of being scared I was pissed, fighting mad. Then I got even more pissed at the nanchalaunce of the bar workers I told this to. Latter after a beer I started to shake and thought of how stupid I was to risk my life for $60. What an awful night. I'm still on raw nerves and am unlikely to sleep tonight. This has never happened to me in my life. 12 years in Detroit and this has never happened. I'll never blow off valet parking again and It's unlikely I will ever go to that bar again.
