Yep, for the remainder of the week, I'll be either in Houston or Dallas. All business (unless I find a Traildust Steakhouse!), I am demo-ing our products to all of the parties who have to interact with it once it is implemented. The good news is they made the buy. The bad news is I didn't sell it, but am just responsible for implementing it.
I just hope I can locate a decent (cheap, fast) internet connection.
Let me brush up on my Texican:
How-dy! Y'all come back now, ya hear! You paid how much for those boots just to step in turds!?!

Yep, it's Texas here.
I haven't seen much since it has been all dark since I arrived. Hopefully, the sun still rises on Texas.

Welcome to Texas, MarcusMaximus
You might find the freeway traffic more of a hazard than the cows
But I am an old hand here. I spent 8 months in Irving several years ago and two months in Kileen over a decade ago. Both were fly-in commuting opportunities, but I made the most of my evenings.

Enjoy your trip...even though it's work related.
My last Texas visit?? Shore has been awhile since I've donned my ten gal Stetson, slipped on my silver-plated Oil Derrick belt buckle...which is the size of a Stop Sign Grabbed my boot strapes on my Lizard boots...stuffed my mouth full of choco-flavored fake chew...and asked where the nearest Rockin' Rodeo might be..
Well this is over-kill, ..really loved the barbeque style dinners...man that made me hungry. MM eat some BQ for me..tell me all about it OK?..

It really does sound like I would be right at home in Texas. Apart from the different weather that is Alberta sounds much the same

Jaguar, that is what Bradius and I thought when you posted in the sterotype thread about Alberta I would feel at home in Alberta, except it might be a bit cold for me
