I am creating a new adventure, but I have some trouble assigning the right hero to a quest.

The situation is as follows:

- Hero A is needed for a quest.
- Monster X (independent monster) appeared in a previous episode and is still in the city (no hero is available to slay the monster).
- Hero A should not be able to slay the monster.

My problem:
When creating the quest event, I am only able to select the hero which corresponds to the independent monster. This means that, when the player summons the hero to go on a quest, this hero will also slay the monster. It should be noted that in this case the monster is Echidna, who is not designated to any God (as far as I know).

How can I summon a hero to go on a quest without that hero killing the monster?

Unfortunately the only way is to assign a different hero from the one that slays the monster, because the heroes home in on their monsters the first thing they do after arriving to the city.

And remember, all three Heroes used by the adventure are assignable only through Mythology tab of the Episode 1.

Thanks for the reply.

I have figured out what was wrong. I had not set any opponent gods, so there was only one monster present in the adventure (independent one). The editor automatically chose the one hero that was available, the one needed for the independent monster. After selecting an opponent god, a second monster was available in the adventure which pairs with a different Hero. This second hero does not slay the individial monster.
